Guided skip‑the‑line group tour of St. Peter's Basilica. Your guide will show you Michelangelo's famous Pietà, Bernini's grand baldachin, take you down into the Vatican Grottoes to the Papal Tombs, and help you climb to the Dome for an incredible panoramic view over Rome.

Together with your guide, you'll begin with a visit to the Vatican Grottoes – the underground burial chambers beneath the Basilica where the popes, including Saint Peter, are laid to rest. Your guide will share fascinating stories from the lives of the pontiffs and point out ancient tombs.

You will then enter the main hall of St. Peter's Basilica. Your guide will show you Michelangelo's Pietà – a breathtaking sculpture – and tell you the story of its creation. You'll approach the main altar, where your guide will draw your attention to Bernini's baldachin – the massive bronze structure towering beneath the dome.

The highlight of the tour is the climb to the Dome. Your guide will help you navigate the way (about 500 steps await you), and from the top you'll enjoy a stunning view: St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant'Angelo, and all of Rome spread out before you.
